I believe in understanding each and every student I teach prior to even customizing the lesson plan and pace. My First session is always an assessment session cum ice breaker to evaluate a student's level of mastery in the subject as well as to identify the key areas that need to be focused. It will also serve to identify the key strengths and weaknesses of each student so they can be taught according to it. I conduct a monthly assessment to track their progress, it will be a motivation factor as well as the guideline as to how the goal in the subject can be achieved. I emphasize on both way communication and allow students to discuss openly and honestly about their feedback on my teaching approach. I believe teaching and learning happens to both parties; students as well as teachers. Parents and guardians are updated duly on their children's progress as well.
