I've been tutoring one on one for the past 10 years. Especially students who are about to sit for their final exams. I focus more unto the students strength, digging deeper to arouse a steady mental frame capable to attract success. I go through important section of each subject(Maths/Chemistry) . This ensures each student reach a state of mind in which she/ he can comfortably walk into an exam room confident to post better grades.
