WHY I do : I love problem solving-whether it's Math or real life! Besides, Math being a part of many entrance tests, plays a key role in shaping careers of many people. It is at 'this' avenue, I feel my experience helps students to fulfill their dreams and do well in their lives. I have been fortunate to be in field that I love- teaching! I love getting it into the zone to help student remove the Math phobia and improve their scores remarkably. My intent has always been student learning & benefit. I guess this largely has made me deserving to be their mentor.
HOW I do : For beginners, I'll follow the formula ( I do -> we do -> you do). It means I explain a concept, then we do it together and finally it is the student who does it. For moderate students, I'll make them 'think'. I try 'not' to spoon-feed direct answers but instead doing a lot of scaffolding to actually arrive at answers.
WHAT I do : My role involves helping students in Math/ Quant & reasoning areas that we face in entrance tests/ competitive exams. 1) how to solve questions in less than one minute per question 2) strategic & conceptual clarity 3) minimum pen & paper work.
