I have experience of 1 year teaching in college to my juniors. I have been doing competitive programming from past 4years. Programming languages that I prefer are C++, Python but I have worked on other languages too.
First I try to make students basics strong then move to the advance topics.
If a student is stuck, I give a small hint and ask them to brainstorm themselves for sometime before I explain the complete solution.
I try to give some homework so that the previous concepts remain in flow.
I have helped students clear their college examinations and few of my students are placed in product based companies also.
