Teaching is an art that helps us mould the leaders of the future. It
is a role that tangibly and intangibly shapes the society, the
community and the nation.
Teaching gives us an opportunity to work closely with aspiring
hearts and minds, channelling the boundless energies of the
youth in the right direction while equipping them with the right
skills required to succeed in this Life and the Hereafter.
Quran is the only light with which we find our way in this world
and illuminate the path of others. Being a Quran teacher is not
only the highest honour and privilege one can have, it is also the
biggest responsibility.
Having spent all my life studying the Holy Book of Allah, which is
the only source of guidance for mankind, it will be a great
pleasure to transfer the learnings I have had and impress upon
the young minds the golden values of the Holy Book.
Teaching the Quran is not just about teaching to read the text but
in the process also convey the importance of the Book to the
learner.
As a teacher, I believe in establishing a bond with my students,
which helps me inculcate the spirit of the Quran in the pupils
while helping them learn and memorise the text.

Experience

  • Quran Teacher (Dec, 2018–Feb, 2021) at Maktab Al-Imam Al-Shafayi Bhatkal Karnataka
    I have worked for more than two years as a Qur’an teacher at a
    learning centre in Bhatkal, Karnataka, working with the students
    of mixed age group, training them in Nazira recitation of Qur’an,
    the science of Tajweed as well as memorisation of the Holy
    Qur’an.
    This experience has given me the confidence required to pursue
    the noble path of teaching and establish myself meaningfully in
    spreading the knowledge of Quran.
