I am a qualified and experienced IB educator in English Language & Literature and TOK at Mpesa Foundation Academy. I have experience teaching both SL and HL, and my students have graduated with very high grades. I accomplish this by learning about my students' needs and interests and then designing learning strategies that allow them to learn while having fun. I am able to transform abstract concepts that students find difficult into concrete ones. My patience with students has earned me numerous awards. I have helped students who struggle with language, literature, and TOK assessments gain confidence in taking the exams. To avoid boring my students with information they already know, I employ interactive strategies such as scaffolding and using various tools to assess and activate background knowledge. I listen to and respond to students' needs with an open mind, assisting students in reaching their full potential. You can rest assured that you will be in secure hands.
