Hey! I'm Ruthan and I'm a mathematics educator. As a Numeracy Specialist I specialize in working with students that are weak or struggling with maths. I believe in game-based learning and the real life applicability of Mathematics concepts. I provide bi-weekly or monthly progress report at parent or guardian requests.

My learning environment will always be practical, student-centered, resourceful, adaptable, stimulating, safe, non-judgmental and promote equity to create well rounded students. My students will be able to make mistakes comfortably and learn from them by viewing these mistakes as stepping stone to their success. My methodology will vary based on the learning styles and needs of my students.

I have tutored students who were successful in College Math (Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Discreet, Statistics, Mechanics etc.), CSEC Math (including SBA assistance), City &Guilds Maths, scored Highly Proficient or Proficient on their PEP examinations at the grade 4-6 level in all subject areas and above the 85 percentile on the Ability Test.
