Hello potential students

My name is Dineo. I was born and raised in Gauteng, South Africa. I have always been passionate about teaching other people to enhance their capabilities because I believe as individuals we have so much to offer. In my spare time, I love reading and exercising to refresh my mind and body.

I learned the basics of tutoring in high school when I had the opportunity of tutoring English, business studies and economics. My 2 years experience as a tutor has taught me that, being a tutor is not just transmitting knowledge but it also about allowing students to detect their full potential.

My teaching methodologies

Online learning can be tricky sometimes because students don’t have the luxury of having one on one physical contact with their teachers. So it is in my best interest to be present by utilizing all the necessary communication methods by providing a supportive online community and fostering personal relationship with each student to understand their needs. This also gives me an opportunity to encourage each student to learn beyond classes while allowing them to provide feedback.

It would be an absolute pleasure for me to assist you in your journey of learning and applying English in your daily lives. When I tutor you are bound to be a step closer to your goals and not forgetting your results will speak for themselves.

    I am currently teaching English on a online platform called Preply. My job as a tutor is to assist students to improve their grades, communication, understanding complex concepts and preparing for tests and exams. So in order to achieve great results as a tutor I need to cater for each student according to what works for them. My responsibilities towards my learners is to assist students with individual assistance and preparing for lessons and questions from my students.

Fee details

    R70–150/hour (US$3.69–7.90/hour)

    English being a medium of instruction my fee helps even people who can't afford to pay expensive tutoring lessons to get affordable ones that offer the same quality. The experience virtually and physically also come in handy.
