I love physics and I promise my students that they will understand the most difficult concepts and then enjoy studying Physics after a few lessons. All needed is to have some interest and willingness.
Instead of memorizing formulas, we derive them very easily by understanding the concepts that most students have difficulties. I always relate the concepts with daily life experience.
So,they understand that physics is everywhere around us and it makes our lives easier. After a certain time (it depends on initial position) they become more involved an successful. Of course, for problem solving some mathematical skills are required.
