Hello, my name is Zaur Gouliev! I am from Baku, Azerbaijan but I was raised and live in Dublin, Ireland. I plan on doing a PhD in the next year or so! I have a strong interest in teaching people tools and methodologies to solve problems, which is why I have a varied background in Economics and Computer Science, two disciplines which are at the core of solving and optimising problems. I have done advanced graduate-level modules in areas of mathematics, econometrics, object-oriented programming (Python, Java), data structures and algorithms, web application development (React, NodeJS, Flask, Django, CSS3/HTML5), statistics (R, STAT), machine learning, artificial intelligence and more! I have around 2 years of teaching experience, mostly university classes at UCD where I helped students with homework, assignments and learning new things to solve homework and assignments. I've pretty much been able to adapt a style that works from first principals, and almost every student I ever tutored has left our sessions with knowing exactly how to solve something or which direction to approach in other to solve it. I've tutored subjects like advanced calculus, data programming, financial analysis, macroeconomics, microeconomics and more! If it is related to economics or computer science, there is a high likelihood that I have experience in it! Beyond just teaching Economics and Computer Science, I have spent 2+ years teaching English (A Levels, SATs, GCSEs, IELTS prep) to Azerbaijani (Baku, Qakh, Sumqayit) students to prepare them for living abroad in a western country (EU) and for their own university subjects (ADA University, Tibb University, Western Caspian University and more).

    Depending on your level of English, I can adjust the prices, for those looking to work on strictly grammar, syntax, vocabulary, structure and even specific-task orientated, I usually would charge lower but for those simply looking to learn from scratch, I will need time to create a learning plan (i.e., a track to help you build confidence in speaking which requires more time).
