I am an optimistic teacher and believe in guiding students to attain both academic and social excellence. My teaching philosophy is to create a welcoming and stimulating learning environment to maximize students' academic excellence.
I am able to realize my teaching philosophy by thoroughly preparing for my lessons and integrating a variety of teaching methods supported by effective teaching and learning materials. By incorporating a variety of teaching methods, I can cater for students' individual learning needs.
I am devoted to continuous learning and always try to expose students to anything new about the topic under study. I also ensure that students can relate the topic under study to their daily lives and apply it duly.
My mode of assessment is both formative (during the lesson) and summative (after a learning period). My questions mostly centre on application and is also in line with the teaching syllabus recommended for teaching and learning.
I am passionate about the teaching profession and place greater emphasis on guiding students to develop an appreciation for learning science in general.
