Good day
My name is Erika but you can call me Teacher kai

I am a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education major in mathematics.
I’ve been working as an ESL teacher for 6 years teaching Chinese kids aging 7-12 years old. I’ve worked in Thailand teaching math, English and physical education subjects in a primary level in a classroom setting. I’m currently based here in Japan as an ALT for junior high school students.

I’ve taught different learners with very diverse learning styles. Teaching learner with various learning styles wasn’t easy at the beginning. Since it is in the nature of kids to nave very short attention especially to the things they are not familiar with
But as I deal with them every class I was able to find different ways or techniques
To catch their attention and teach them effectively.
I can say that with all the experiences I had teaching these kids I have improved myself more and grow to be a good teacher who can be mentor and at the same time a friend. I am prepared to handle various students and enjoy learning with them, also
I worked also as an ESL teacher Philippines before I moved in Thailand. It greatly helped me become knowledgeable enough in dealing situations to improve my teaching styles as an online teacher. Thank you and have a great day.
