    Developed numerical model of residential solar collectors: Thermal conditions were studied numerically using the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) and Large Eddy Simulation (LES) modeling approach. Radiation exchange between the surfaces of the solar collector was modeled using the Discrete Ordinate Radiation Model.
    • Implemented collector model in three-dimensional engine simulation software to study the effect of different parameters on the performance of solar collectors.
    • Studied three-dimensional flow and heat transfer through various geometries of solar collectors with numerical simulations in a commercial CFD package, ANSYS-FLUENT.
    • Designed and built experimental setups to characterize three dimensional flow and heat transfer in collector parts, as well as to validate numerical simulations.
