Science is a life. There are a lot of connection between science and your lives. The way you act, the way you think, the way you talk and the reasons why is your lives is easy and fun is all based on science concepts. Learning science is not about how good you are in your grade, or how easy or hard is when you solve the problems. But learning science is a process while there will be relation between one concept with the other concepts that has to be understand and goes in to it slowly but sure. I used to friend with the students instead of being a high teacher, I was prefer being a same low as the students. Asking question and daily activities is my way to reach student's characters. Being relax while you are studying is the best way to catch all the lesson into your long term memory. Give the real examples and get the relationship with our daily lives is my methodology when teaching my class. I can be a friend for my students and that make me a great teacher for discuss with.
