The best method I have found has been that of the step by step approach. Beginning from the known and moving to the unknown. A smile always works wonders. I let the student take the lead so they discover it for themselves. Keeping the classes alive with searching questions and, of course, giving individual practice to asses how far the objectives have been achieved. Remedial work is also given to ensure satisfaction. The results have always been good. Teaching has always been my passion. I have been teaching now for 20 years.
