Hi! My name is Shawn. Nice to meet you :)

Personally a creative learner, I tend to implement a lot of fun and flexibility in my teaching. I use stories and relate them to concepts, mindmaps and simplified diagrams, helping those who dislike overcomplicated notes and dry textbooks learn better.

Students taught by myself enjoy themselves a lot and I find that this style of teaching is a much more effective way of getting knowledge into their minds. Over time, my students see me as not only a teacher but also a friend, a mentor and someone to look up to.

I tell my students to study smart, and they can study less. As a "study-smart" person myself, it is proven that by just studying smart, your child can stand out from the rest. While others are busy writing down notes, your child can peacefully relax since they already have the knowledge in the back of their minds.

Mathematics is my forte and I have incredible amounts of methods and tricks to let your child understand algebra and other difficult and confusing math topics. Also, being a medical student has allowed me to inspire many of my students by relating the topics that they learn in IGCSE with situations that happen in real life as well as interesting clinical examples which keeps their minds whirling & stimulated to learn more!
