A good tutor is not necessarily someone who has the deepest subject knowledge but someone who can transfer their knowledge in a way that it is helpful to the learner. I start with understanding & identifying the student's problem areas and go on to address exactly that. I do so by explanation of concepts relevant to the topic, giving them adequate examples & practice material and of course testing them from time to time.

My teaching style varies from student to student depending upon the extent and manner of guidance they require. This simple principle has helped my students garner great performance in exams which in turn has boosted their confidence. It's a great feeling to see learners overcome their fears or apprehensions of certain subjects/ topics and handle them with elan.
