Hello all. My name is Şafak (which means '' dawn'' in English)and I am a native Turkish professional from Antalya,Turkey.I I am a medical doctor( Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Medicine Faculty,graduate of 1996), and have worked as a GP(General Practitioner/ Family Doctor ) for the Ministry of Health of Turkey for 23 years. In Nov. 2019, I resigned from my position at that time, and moved to the UK in order to set up my own company in Home Heathcare Services ( Elderly Domiciliary Care).On Jan. 2021, in London,I passed OET (Occupational English Test For Medicine/Listening :420,Reading: 390, Speaking :430 and Writing :360 ).

I returned to Turkey after spending 2 years in England & Scotland,and started my career as a Consultant Doctor & Patient Coordinator in Health Tourism field serving patients from mainly UK and Ireland. Additionally, I teach English and Turkish both online and face-to-face.

I also have a TEFL(Teaching English As a Foreign Language) certificate, scored 7.0 in IELTS Academic, and 90/100 in YDS (a national Language Proficiency Test in Turkey ).

I have always been interested in learning foreign languages and getting to know about other cultures. Consequently, I have travelled all over the world intensly. I can speak German at a pre-intermediate level as well.
