 Organic synthesis and purification: Solid phase peptide synthesis, stapled peptide synthesis expertise in performing various organic synthetic reactions from small scale to large scale especially bioconjugation techniques and microwave synthesis; purification by column chromatography, HPLC, distillation, crystallization, and other techniques.
Analytical techniques and structure elucidation: Structure elucidation using FT-IR, NMR (H1, C13, 2D), Mass spectrometry (LC-MS, MS-MS), CHN analyzer, polarimeter, and X-ray crystallography.
Analytical method development: HPLC Method development
Biological studies: Cell line assay, mechanistic studies, and other animal studies relevant to anticancer drug discovery. Biological evaluation via Radiolabeling of 99mTc, in vitro assays, including in vitro serum stability, cell culture of cell lines, receptor binding assay, radioligand binding assays, internalization study, and different In-vitro cell line works. In-vivo studies like Pharmacokinetic study of radiolabelled peptides in rats, Tumor development, and imaging study by SPECT gamma camera on rats.
Nuclear imaging techniques: Synthesis of radiolabelled anticancer drug molecules for tumor imaging using SPECT and other nuclear medical imaging techniques.
Software applications are relevant to research: Proficiency Autodock vina, Chimera, PyRx virtual docking, ChemBioOffice, Mendeley, GraphPad, Reaxys, Scifinder, MS Office, etc.
