One of the fundamental elements of educational planning, which is essential to carrying out educational plans, is teaching. Even though effective instruction is crucial, the results are far from ideal. The objective of the current qualitative study was to examine successful teaching in higher education in Iran using the insights of the top national and local academics at the Isfahan University of Technology. Through deliberate sampling, this qualitative content analysis study was carried out. Ten faculty members, including three of the greatest academics in the nation and seven of the best local professors, participated in semi-structured interviews. MAXQDA software was used to do the content analysis. Using semantic units as the starting point, an inductive method was used to investigate the codes, categories, and themes.
