The process of igniting curious minds to explore the unknown requires teaching strategies which enthralls the young minds as well as imparts knowledge. My style of teaching would involve play way method, inquiry based learning, critical thinking approach, collaborative learning to name a few. Following which it is essential to have proper assessments to evaluate the understanding of the child. Since all students are not of the same ability, therefore the teaching techniques and assessments would be differentiated to match their standards and ensure learning takes place at all levels.
Apart of these techniques, I would also take time to make sure the students is completing home-work within stipulated time and delivering the same with accuracy.
Grammar and writing requires practice and therefore would engage the student to work on exercises which enhance those skills. Development of all the LSRW skills would require dedicated attention to each skill individually and constant motivation for the child. Regular conversations would be essential for the enhancement of the speaking skills. Encouraging the child to read books outside of syllabus is a key factor for the growth of reading skills.
