Patience and flexibility, combined with a broad understanding of the way different bodies might work plus the proper knowledge of technique and theory that characterizes Kalakshetra alumni. I value the responsibility that a teacher undertakes when they face their student, and out of respect and admiration for my own teacher I follow the same standards. I see dance as a holistic approach to the self, hence the need to comprehend and try to master every aspect at our reach. I can teach in english and spanish. Body exercises, notes, corrections and experimental tasks will be given.

An amazing dedication towards students

Sofia has been a very patient and disciplined teacher. She corrects every inch of a posture in detail. She doesn't allow us to give up, she keeps pushing us by telling that you will get it. Many times I have been so irregular to the class due to my work schedule, she has kept a lot of patience to reschedule and accommodate the class.

A wonderful teacher indeed. Anyone with a slight dedication also can take help of Sofia to progress in their practice. Thanks to her!

Patient,helpful and punctual

Sofia has been teaching my 3 year old son and I.
She has been extremely patient with both of us.she adapts the lessons as per our needs.
She ensures that we have absolutely understood everything she has taught and doesnt mind repeating a lesson until we are thorough.
We have tried both face to face classes and online classes with her and enjoyed both immensely. We have also learned a lot .
She is an excellent teacher.
