I'm Strict in teaching because art is one such learning that can't be erased out of mind.
Perfection should be the aim.
Strictness is for the betterment of a dancer to shape well and have a strong foundation in the same subject.
Learning never ends so I never let any of my students to feel that they are learnt enough to stop learning after a certain stage.
My methodology includes daily life examples for making students understand the intricacies of what they are learning.
The method of teaching includes geometrical patterned positions of hands and legs, preparation for the same and as to how it can be implemented in the performance practically as it is a performing art
I'll make sure that whatever they have learnt under me shall not be forgotten in their lifetime.
Training for performance, just for learning for the sake of knowledge and also for examination held at respective cultural board are available.

As I have learnt nanjangud style of Bharatanatya which is a rare style I would like to continue the legacy the same way.
As Karnataka is my home state, I would like to continue the legacy of Karnataka Nritya Parampara.

Great experience

My daughter is very comfortable and enjoys learning Bharatanatyam from teacher Apoorva Prakash.
She is very knowledgeable and patient with Kids. She encourages and motivates my daughter to learn dance. Truly we are having great experience. I highly recommend Teacher Apoorva Prakash if you are looking for one.

Great teacher!

I have been learning under Apoorva’s tutelage for about 3 months now. I am completely new to the classical dance form but she’s been extremely supportive of my passion and enthusiasm to learn it. She is strict when it comes to class and lessons, yet very friendly and sweet! I feel constantly motivated to give my best when she is around. She is mindful of my health conditions and ensures health is top priority! I must also mention her punctuality to class- it’s always perfect! I thank God I found her as my teacher three months ago! Hoping to grow in this dance form soon, gracefully- just like her! Thank you for being there! :)
