Hello everyone,
I am a professional singer,vocal coach and practitioner of Indian Classical Music from Kolkata .I have been in this field for around 16 years . So I can assure you will have a great learning experience with me.

I have participated in a popular singing reality show Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (2020-21) and was among top 8 participants .You can check my episodes on Zee5 app.

I started my musical Journey at the age of 6 with Indian classical music and my passion for music led to learn different genres of music such as Hindustani classical music,Semi classical and Light classical music,Ghazals,devotional songs,Bhajans,Bollywood music
et cetera .I also play Harmonium and Tanpura (one of the major instruments of Indian Music).I appreciate all genres of music and try to get the essence from it .I am also a scholar of West Bengal State Music academy,national winner of Bharat Sanskriti Utsav and featured artist in Akashvani Radio .I have also performed over 150+ concerts.

I strongly believe that everyone possesses a sense of music but requires the right exposure and and proper guidance to unleash .Just learning the techniques is not enough and requires practicing and culturing at regular basis.

As a trainer believe in creating a strong bond with my students and establishing a strong foundation in them which gives a great sense of accomplishment and I strive to make the learning process enjoyable and comfortable.
I will also train you how to increase the range of your voice, improve your pitch, how to perform, how to connect with audiences, how to choose and listen songs with a different prospective as a musician.

Age group : I have students who are as young as 5 years old and also 75 years old .I believe that imparting musical knowledge should not be restricted to any age.

Teaching Methodology : My teaching method is very simple. I start with the pronunciation of 'SA' by getting you accustomed to Tanpura, eventually moving to other swaras . To keep it very simple for all my students, I have designed a very simple, customized syllabus, which should meet the expectations of any beginner to intermediate singers.

Theory: I start with the basics of Indian Classic music (Aaroha - Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Da, Ni, Sa; Avaroha - Sa, Ni, Da, Pa, Ma, Ga, Re, Sa).Eventually moving towards different combinations of notes,applying those in metronome or taal . I cover music forms like Classical, Semiclassical, Bollywood,Devotional Ghazal.

That which comes easily departs easily. That which comes out of sincere efforts remains forever. Human Voice is incredibly amazing. The right vocal techniques takes one from an amateur singer to a fantastic vocalist. That journey is tough, though worth conquering. Being a Vocal coach, It's my privilege to help you in achieving that goal .Thank You.

Friendly learning experience, recommended!

I have been taking his classes for one month now, online . I started with basic voice training with him. He has been supportive and friendly. Yet, very serious with music. I had my doubts about how online classes can be helpful. Thanks to his guidance and a few cool electronic applications in cell phone and computer, I am able to do my rewaj nicely. Happy with the experience.
