Dear Student,

My name is Veronicah, but please call me Vee.
I am an experienced Swahili and English teacher based in Nairobi, Kenya. I have been teaching these languages both online and in-person for close to eight years. I therefore have extensive knowledge and expertise in tutoring students from beginner to advanced levels.
I am very patient in nature thus I usually take time to understand my students and tailor-make their language needs to best suit their individual interests and goals.
I use the relevant reference materials to aid in learning as I usually adopt a very practical approach in my classes.
My lessons are relaxed, fun and enjoyable which creates the most conducive atmosphere for effective learning.
Most, if not all, of my students have successfully accomplished their goals in a timely manner and they have subsequently referred me to others which can only mean that my approach works (but there's only one way for you to confirm this:-) ).
I am looking forward to learning with students from around the world on this platform, to help them improve their language skills and to share my enthusiasm with them.

Fee details

    KSh700–1,500/hour (US$5.34–11.45/hour)

    My charges vary based on:
    1. The number of lessons the student will take.The more the lessons the lesser the fee and vice versa.
    2. The distance to travel for in-person lessons.
    However, I'm open to negotiating a reasonable fee in consideration of these and any other factors.
