The Covid-19 pandemic situation has made the education industry even more active online. The skills I have acquired through teaching online since 2014 were may be preparing me for 2020. This is a sad year for so many reasons, however, we must keep fighting and moving on.

Ten years of experience as a student in a residential school has taught me everything that I am today. I have been a class monitor, group in-charge and later on a school prefect. Now that I teach in a residential school, and it's been just a year, I am already a house master and the coordinator of morning assembly.

I try to keep my classes interactive and interesting for all. My ISC (standard 12) result in Computer Applications was 95%. I was in love with computers since 1995 and I still am. There are many students of mine who started loving the subject after being taught by me, which makes me very proud as a teacher.

I teach CBSE and CIE curriculum at present. The highest score of my last CBSE batch was 100%. That's all, see you in class.

    • Participate in the scheduling process to ensure the schedule supports student learning
    • Ensure a scope and sequence is in place and adhered to for the approaches to learning
    • Ensure copies of IB MYP publications are available to the faculty
    • Assist the MYP teachers and Leadership Team in identifying resources to support the MYP
    • Notify the accounts department of any IBO payments that are due
    • Represent the school at various external events and meetings related to IB.
    • Coordinate and plan the collaborative meetings at each grade level
    • Coordinate and plan the Head of Department meetings
    • Meet with PYP coordinators on a weekly basis
    • Coordinate student led conferences C. Communication
    • Provide advice and support to all teachers and inform them of all developments within the MYP, including advising the appropriate faculty of any new publications relevant to their subject areas and/or positions within the school

Excellent Teacher

Mr Abir Roy is one of the most inspiring teachers that have ever taught me. I loved ICT since a young age, but Mr Abir has opened my eyes even more and gives me a lot of interest and alot of confidence to move forward.he is patient and understandingand puts in a great deal of effort into every lesson.i would recommend mr.Abir to anyone perhaps needing some extra help or guidance.
