As a 2011 postgraduate of Anna University India, I have college-level teaching experience on the graduate and postgraduate level. I have experience in teaching engineering students both theoretical as well as practical levels. I was last employed as an Assistant Professor at Adi Shankara Institute, Kerala which is one among the pioneer institution in South India. I was formerly employed as a lecturer for a year at Anna university as well. I have got First rank in Masters Engineering from Anna University and received gold medal from Governor of Tamil Nadu then.
I can teach from the basics what a student is knowing to the application level in the day to day life. I believe that my personality and skills put me in the right position to help create a stimulating learning environment. Since I identify with the values and mission of teaching, I am committed to inspiring students to adopt them too.
I have also guided several projects for Postgraduate students and undergraduate students. I also have experience in coordinating various workshops and Tech Fest. Because I am not committed to just a job, but to the teaching profession as a whole. I place a high value on constant learning and I always take the initiative when it comes to attending conferences, workshops, short-term training program courses and talks that can prepare me to be a better TA. I was also a part of ISO, NBA & NAAC Accreditation of the college.
I’m committed to not only using my knowledge and skills in the teaching but also and more importantly, to be an integral part of my student's development. This sincere interest in the pupils' personal growth has been my primary motivation when applying for this job.
During my career, I have made a conscious effort to evaluate my actions, choices, and attitudes so that I can eventually be seen as an inspirational role model beyond the classroom, helping students take away values that will prepare them to be responsible and caring adults.
Ever since I was a teenager I've had a keen interest in learning and bettering myself, and I believe that if I use the right tools and strategies, this hunger for learning and self-improvement can be picked up by students who can then incorporate these values into their own lives now and in the future.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to students. I believe my teaching experience and passion for academics make me an ideal candidate for a teaching position for students.
