আমি সুমন চ্যাটার্জী, কলেজ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়সহ বিভিন্ন বোর্ডের (Class- ix-xii) শিক্ষার্থীদের বাংলা পড়াই ও শেখাই। বাংলা যাদের মাতৃভাষা নয় এবং যারা বিদেশী, তাদের বাংলা ভাষা শেখানো আমার অন্যতম আগ্রহের বিষয়। আমি যুক্ত ছিলাম, আমেরিকান ইন্সটিটিউট অফ ইন্ডিয়ান স্টাডিসের কলকাতা কেন্দ্রের (AIIS, Kolkata) সঙ্গে। এছাড়া আমি ঝারখন্ড কেন্দ্রীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে (Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi ) আদিবাসি সাহিত্য ও লোকসংস্কৃতি নিয়েও কাজ করছি। বাংলা লোকসাহিত্য নিয়ে পিএইচ.ডি গবেষণার কাজ করেছি কল্যাণী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে। আমি শুধুমাত্র অনলাইনেই পড়াই। সিলেবাসের নির্দিষ্ট পাঠক্রমের বাইরে, নানান ধরনের বই পড়তে শিক্ষার্থীদের সহযোগিতা করে থাকি। সারা বছর পাঠ্য বই পড়ানোর পাশাপাশি, assignment ও পরীক্ষার সময় অতিরিক্ত সাহায্য করি।
