Dr-prathyusha Vadlamudi Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry

I have expertise in teaching the below mentioned topics:
Quantum Chemistry
Electronic structure theory
Organic Spectroscopy
Chemical bonding
Chemical Kinetics
Ionic Equilibria
Ionics and Electrodics
Pericyclic reactions
Organic reaction mechanisms
Bioorganic chemistry
Solid state chemistry

Apart from the above mentioned subjects I also conduct practicals for all three year BSc(Honors) students and all conduct computational chemistry lab sessions for final year BSc(Honors) students as well as PhD students as a part of their course work.

My teaching style revolves around making the student understand the concept and training them to apply their knowledge on that concept to solve any kind of question or problem given on the topic.

I teach them a topic, give them several questions and problems to solve and make sure that they make appropriate notes from three or four text books covering the topic and conduct a small QA session before the commencement of next class so that they are well prepared and I will be able to assess their knowledge.

I find this approach very effective as I have 95-98 pass percentage in my classes till date.

I don't want to be a great teacher. I just want to be a chemistry teacher who they will remember with a smile when they go to higher classes and are able to recollect basics of any topic which was taught by me.
