Hello! My name is Ashima. I am from India and a native Hindi speaker. I am a trained teacher. I have around three years of experience of teaching school kids in India. I have been teaching conversational Hindi to non Hindi speaking people since the last two and a half years. I teach Hindi to beginners and people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I love helping kids and adults to develop their Hindi speaking, reading and writing skills. My students include 6 years old kids to 40 years old adults.
I include power points, videos, worksheets, games and rhymes (for children) in my lessons to make them fun, effective and interactive. I am also well versed with English language. Thus I am able to help students understand the Hindi language by explaining the meanings in English.
I devise my lessons according to my students' requirements and age group. So if you want to learn how to start a basic conversation in Hindi or to become an expert in conversing with the locals, I am there to help you. All you need to do is to book a lesson with me.

Very supportive and dedicated teaching

Ashima is a great teacher. She offers tailored lesson plans, not just based on the skill level of her student but also based on what her student is looking to achieve. She has a comprehensive grasp of Hindi grammar and is able to explain concepts in a simple and clear manner. She organises lessons into sections in order to keep it interesting and she’s always willing to answer questions and to explore the cultural side of language learning. I'm a beginner with some existing Hindi vocabulary, and her approach has helped me to quickly build connections in my learning. I know Ashima is a natural born teacher because of how much joy it gives her to see her students making breakthroughs in their learning. I would not hesitate to recommend her to other adult students out there.
