Dancing has always been my passion and I have been pursuing it since 30 yrs. I was trained in the Pandanallur bani. Besides giving performances, I completed Post Graduation in Bharatanatyam at Sastra University. Its been a few yrs since I started my own dance school in Chennai and am also taking online classes for students from different parts of the world.

I want to share my academic knowledge with young students and even ladies who have discontinued dance due to circumstances. With a one-to-one interaction through online teaching am confident that we can make the best use of time and make learning a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Knowledgeable and very passionate teacher

My daughter enjoys dancing and talking to teacher every week, aarthi is the first dance teacher for my daughter, she has learner so much in just 6 months.

Wonderful and Graceful Teacher!

My daughter has started online classes with Arathi, and It brings me joy to see her so happy after each class. I heartfully believe that Arathi is such a patient and encouraging teacher, she really motivates my daughter to do her best every lesson. She clearly explains every aspect of dance and helps my daughter understand fully. She is always smiling and she is the best dance teacher I've found for my daughter!

Amazing teacher!!

Hi, I’m Hema, I’m from Bucharest,Romania, my daughter and I are learning Bharathanatyam online with Arathi. She’s one of the best teachers. She’s very patient and very clear, to teach a 6 year old girl. She also explains each and every slogans and concepts of Bharathanatyam so that we understand the dance. Excellent and graceful Bharatanatym teacher

Mrs Arathi is an inspirational teacher to all ages.she has endless patience with beginners.my daughters 11 and 6 are always praise for Mrs Arathi as a bharatanatym teacher.There is nothing better than seeing your child coming out of a lesson happy and interested in what she has been learning.it makes me a very happy mum that my kids love dancing with Arathi so much.Great teacers are really hard to find but we have been blessed and the kids love ,and look forward to her classes.
I would definitely recommend Mrs Arathi as a Bharatanatym teacher for anyone.
