He teaches nicely. One of the best flute teacher in Delhi, India.

I am learning for him in person since many years. The best part of him is that he sticks to guru-shishya tradition of mastering basuri techniques and classical Indian ragas—the foundation required for soulful playing of Indian Basuri. At the same time, depending on your inclination, he parallelly guides you in other forms of music like semi classical , fusion or western and Bollywood compositions.

I was initiated into learning about the Hindustani Classical Music from the one and only Avijit Sir. Having learnt how to play bansuri from him for 1.5 years, I can say that he not only teaches you the skills of how to play the bansuri, but also exposes you to the whole gamut of philosophy of music, history and art. For him, Bansuri is more than a musical instrument, it is a way of life.

Mr Avijit Chakraborty's Bansuri playing inspires me to follow him. He takes time to listen to me and adjusts his teaching as per my progress.
