Hello there,
I’m a third year Optometry student at the UWI. I am also employed at a well-known local Optical (Part-time). Having gained work experience and interacting with patients and customers on a daily basis, I often find myself having to simplify and explain to patients what is going on with their eyes. On multiple occasions I received feedback on my work and patients/customers complement me on being extremely professional. I have a talent for simplicity, having studied sciences at the CSEC as well as CAPE level and now furthering my studies at the UWI I know that it is time to give back to the nation’s young ones by way of teaching and educating.
I will ensure that any student under my care is fully equipped for their next exam!
