I have a passion for teaching, which makes me very outstanding among my peers. I usually target a future challenge and prepare the students for the tasks ahead. The Senior School Certificate Examination and JAMB have become a major challenge for Nigerian students, and teaching this class of students has exposed me to the problems of students in secondary school..

My teaching methodology is a unique one, blending the traditional style and modern technology approaches to make the students active while learning, accommodating all manner of questions, which I evaluate to know the students' strengths. These have always brought me good results at the end of the class. I am a very patient person who always strives hard for a better understanding of the concept of teaching my students, no matter how tedious the subject may be.

I teach for excellence, with vision and purpose, not just to justify all righteousness or pass examinations, but to spark curiosity that builds confidence, and help every student believe in his/her ability to succeed in mathematics and other science-related subjects.

MY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A PHYSICS TEACHER
My roles and responsibilities are more than just a teacher—I am a guide, mentor, and motivator. I help students:

Discover how the laws of nature work in real life.

Think critically and solve problems logically.

Build confidence in handling scientific tools and data.

Appreciate the beauty and relevance of science in everyday life.

I also serve as a role model for curiosity, patience, and lifelong learning. Whether it’s encouraging a shy student to ask questions or sparking an “aha!” moment during an experiment, I ensure to help shape how my students see science—and themselves.

    My Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that connect physics concepts to things students care about—like cars, space, phones, or sports.

Set up fun and safe lab experiments so students can experience the laws of physics in action, not just hear about them.

Answer tough questions with patience, even when you’ve heard them a dozen times.

Mark assignments and give feedback in a way that helps students improve without feeling discouraged.

Create a positive classroom atmosphere where students feel safe to try, fail, ask questions, and grow.

Keep learning myself, so I can bring fresh ideas and tools into the classroom or the online class.

I also work with other teachers on cross-subject projects (like mixing physics with math and/or technology), to meet with parents about progress, or support science clubs or competitions.

In mathematics, I try as much pass the concept adequately before leaving the class.
