Hi there! I'm Jay Marie, and I help students learn with confidence and clarity.

I’m a Registered Electrical Engineer with a passion for teaching English and Math. Since 2017, I’ve been working with students from ages 4 to 60, helping them improve their skills in a way that’s simple, engaging, and effective. Whether you’re a beginner or just need a confidence boost, I’m here to support your goals.

What I teach:

English (ESL): Speaking, grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and business/professional communication

Math: Elementary to high school math, word problems, basic algebra, and exam preparation

Technical Support: Engineering basics, technical writing, process documentation, and academic support for technical subjects

My teaching style:
I always tailor my lessons to fit your level, learning style, and pace. I believe that learning should be fun, structured, and motivating. I explain lessons in a simple way, using real-life examples and interactive tools to help you truly understand the topic—not just memorize it.

Fee details

    ₱6–10/hour (US$0.10–0.16/hour)

    My teaching fee ranges from $6 to $10 USD per hour depending on the student’s level, the subject complexity, and the type of support needed:

    $6/hour – For beginner students, casual conversation practice, or light academic support in English or Math.

    $8/hour – For structured lessons that involve grammar, writing, or guided math problem-solving with prepared materials.

    $10/hour – For advanced lessons such as exam preparation, technical writing, or customized content that requires extra time and planning.

    I do my best to keep my rates affordable while still providing high-quality, personalized lessons. I’m flexible, committed, and always happy to adjust based on your needs.
