I specialized in Science teaching and I focus on the scientific method of learning through experiments and simulations. I also bring out learning from the experience of the students themselves and improve them through hands-on learning. This type of learning allows me to develop students with knowledge, skills, and an ability to use those for real-life application. But depending on the needs of the students, I can focus on a theoretical and conceptual approach to teaching whenever a student is aiming to get a high score in pen-and-paper tests. I enjoy record-keeping and monitoring the growth of my students, and it makes me more engaged with them. On the other hand, if I observe that my approach is not working, it also encourages me to develop ways that will allow my students to learn. I also master using digital media and have a strict rule for myself to never present lessons with boring visuals. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to that, I should say. I am David C.
