Anastasios MarkitsisStatistics and Mathematics, All levels
No reviews yet
Hello! My name is Anastasios--I have a PhD in statistics and over 20 years of experience tutoring statistics and mathematics, including five years of teaching at the undergraduate/graduate level of statistics (at Teachers College, Columbia University, and at University College Dublin, in Dublin, Ireland).
I am very familiar with the mathematics/statistics concepts that usually get learners "stuck," so I can quickly help you make sense of the concepts that are giving you trouble. My lessons are tailored to your individual learning needs and goals--I mostly like to use a whiteboard for hands-on examples. There are no "silly" questions--I encourage all my students to to ask any question they have so that they can fully understand the concept(s) that we are going over.
I can help you with many topics and levels of statistics and mathematics, including:
- AP Statistics, A-Level Statistics (Edexcel, AQA, OCR), IB Math (especially the statistics and probability components), and - other levels and courses in mathematics/statistics, including graduate level courses.
Feel free to contact me to discuss your learning goals in more detail!
