Aiswarya Lakshmi is performing artist and teacher specialising in Bharatanatyam with training from Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai and is equipped with a Masters in Performing Arts from the University of Hyderabad. She is currently pursuing PhD in dance at Pondicherry University. Aiswarya has also been a disciple of guru Sheejith Krishna and has performed extensively with the Sahrdaya Repertory Company, Chennai. She has ten years of experience teaching individuals of various ages and levels and has been a dance faculty at the Isha Foundation, Coimbatore. Online Bharatanatyam sessions with Aiswarya will introduce you to the basics (Adavus) of Bharatanatyam, rhythmic structure (Talam) of the art form, theory (Hand gestures and usages) involved in Bharatanatyam, followed by popular compositions by gurus of Kalakshetra Foundation. Aiswarya Lakshmi offers classes to students of all levels focusing on developing their technique and stamina. You’re welcome to a trial session before signing up for regular classes.
