Namaste, I'm Gayathri Devi, professional Bharathnatyam Dancer and teacher. I have been teaching students across age groups since 2018 on online and offline modes (Sai Natyalaya, Thiruvanmiyur) for Bharathnatyam (Kalakshetra style).I have been training students for various grade exams of Bharathnatyam. I also coach Professional courses for adults in beginners intermediate and advanced batches. I teach Kalakshetra style nattuvangam also. Choreography classes are also available. Professional courses for Nattuvangam is also available. Bharathnatyam classes covers syllabus of theory, thalam, excercises, adavus and items. I also train students for temple performances, sabha kutcheris, salangai pooja and Arangetram.
I am sincere and dedicated in teaching. I attend to individual needs of students and my style is flexible. I take one to one and group classes depending on student's choice. I can speak English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil and Malayalam so communication is very easy. I take classes in a systematic approach and try to make sure the student has great understanding and love for the subject just as I do.
My awards and accolades include performances at sabhas, Natyanjalis, world records, titles of Nattuvanga Kalaimani, Nrithya Kalabhushan, Kalai Nirai Selvi, Navarasa Nayaki etc. to name a few
At Sai Natyalaya, I have also been taking classes for Carnatic music vocal and Shlokas classes for all across various age groups. Eligible students also appear in grade exams and perform at different programmes
