Teaching has always been my passion. I've been a freelance private tutor since 2015 and prepared student-centred classes using various offline and online methods, apps etc. to help them grasp the topic. I teach Biology for any level along with other science subjects and Math (till secondary education). I've acquired a 120-hours TEFL certificate, so that I can help students with their English as a full-time EFL teacher as well as a Biology teacher. Other than English, I'm fluent in Bengali & Hindi.

I have taught students of various local, national and international curriculum. I am well-experienced in teaching pupils from primary to A-level classes. Working as a teacher has allowed me to know how to develop engaging, collaborating, inclusive and student-centred lesson plans for classes and implement them using various technological tools and resources. I mostly use Google meet or Zoom links for online classes and as a whiteboard I use Microsoft whiteboard. I will create a Google Classroom code for the student(s) to share materials like class notes, assignments and exam papers.

The main aspect of my teaching is to clear the concept of the subject to the student, the results will follow by themselves, if the concepts are clear. Students are encouraged to ask questions instead of just memorising lessons; asking questions is key to better understanding of the topic as well as the subject.
I take regular mock tests to check their knowledge, understandings of the topic and subject and to prepare them for their upcoming exams. After each exam I assess their scores, and I always let my students clearly know about their progress and I encourage them to be upfront about their doubts as well. Other than the scores, I often employ specific rubrics so that students understand where they stand with the skills like understanding, communication, handwritings, time-management etc. This helps students understand and figure out how they can get even better both at their studies and lives.
Besides helping students get better, I, just like any dedicated teacher, consistently strive to learn and stay updated on newer effective methods to assist my students even better.
Also I've been a TEFL-certified English teacher for 3 years. Before that I used to help students with English to my students while teaching them science or math. Besides, I've been speaking buddy to many people - my pupils, friends, cousins and strangers on the internet who needed help.
