VEENA :
We will start from the basics level of training along with holding posture and finger placements, pulling techniques, tuning the instrument, grip over the gamakas, and gradually move on the advance of Veena playing technique with carnatic lessons varnams and krithis.
VOCAL :
The basic level of training will start from the basic terminology and fundamentals of music with foundation exercise which also includes methods to produce a good voice, right sitting posture, tips to increase the vocal range, Pitch correction, grip over talams.
=> In Advanced level training on vocal and veena, it covers varanam on different ragas and talams along with command over gamakas to approach the Raagas easily.
=> I explored so many easy methodologies to understand the concept and technique of music, which help the student to adapt it accordingly.

A good mentor and dedicated teacher
Kumar sir is very dedicated and very passionate about music. I learned several nuances and techniques from him for playing Veena. His true dedication and passion towards music helps students to learn with passion and joy. I am glad that I found a good mentor for learning music and Veena instrument.

Incredible Teacher for young singers

Great Lessons
I have been taking some lessons with Kumar Anna to learn the basics of Carnatic music. He is a great teacher and very patient- he goes out of his way to make sure you get what you need. Highly recommend.

Soulful and sincere teacher
I was 52 years old when I got introduced to Kumar my veena guru. He has given me sir much comfort that till date I'm continuing my classes with him. Best part is he doesn't impose on me. He understands that being a working woman I'm trying to balance both my work and my passion for Veena. This has made it all the more easy for me and I'm ever thankful to him for this support. I'm always awestruck whenever he performs in the class and motivates me.

Super patient and friendly
I was very hesitant to start learning music at the age of 26 and Kumar has made me feel very comfortable. He is very patient in teaching and flexible in terms of scheduling classes. Has a very good sense of teaching and I enjoy his theory classes as well. I would definitely continue learning from him a long time.
