This is Ayantika Debnath

I was born into a music-loving family and got the joy of growing up with Indian Music.

My music learning started at the tender age of 4 years under the guidance of my first guru and beloved mother Smt. Sukla Biswas Debroy, who graciously introduced me to the beautiful world of music.

At the age of 7, I got the lifetime opportunity to receive taalim from Guruji Shri Radha Vinod Das through the glorious and centuries old, world renowned aspects of the “Guru-Shishy Parampara” for a duration of about 16 years. During this period, I have learnt Hindustani Classical or Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet, Semi-Classical, Light, Movie songs, Folks, Nazrulgeeti, Shyamasangeet, Film Music and more.

I have pursued Visharad in Hindustani Classical vocal music (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Music) from Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith, Lucknow.
And studied post-graduation from Tripura University.

Years of passionate and intense devoted training with daily riyaz has helped me to continue my journey through Indian classical music.

I am filled with immense gratitude towards all my gurus who have provided me with invaluable guidance and taalim (training) from such a tender age until the present. Their dedication, expertise and intense training have shaped my musical journey, and I am deeply appreciative of the knowledge and wisdom they have imparted to me.

Starting from the young age, I have been awarded numerous prizes in various music competitions and programs.

In my nearly 29 years of ongoing Journey Through Indian Music as Hindustani Classical, Semi-Classical, Folk singer and Playback singer,
I have recorded songs in multiple Indian languages for Movies, Background Scores, Sung for TV Advertisements, Recorded and broadcasted as graded singer in All India Radio,
Performed Hundreds of stage performances on the prestigious stages across multiple states of the Indian subcontinent; and
Gained over 16 years of experience in teaching of Hindustani Classical Music.

I have adjudged numerous singing competitions at the national level prestigious organizations like National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Tiruchirappalli, Punjab National Bank, Tiruchirappalli, Income Tax Offices, Tiruchirappalli, Indian Railways Offices, Tiruchirappalli, Schools and colleges etc.

Music teaching is my passion and more of a joyful journey to pass on the precious knowledge to the next generation for the discovery of Artists.

Presently, I am teaching students from absolute beginner to advanced level musicians ranging in age from 5 to 47 years old through online digital platforms like Skype, Zoom and Google Meet from various countries, including USA, UK, UAE, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Australia and India.
Offline classes are conducted in groups.

My teaching style would replicate the major vocal forms or styles associated with Hindustani classical vocal music Dhrupad, Dhammar, Khyal and Tarana style of singing.
My other prominent areas are Rabindra sangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Devotional and Folk music.

Advanced Indian classical vocal performers are trained to play Harmonium and Tanpura also and so I am. As a classical singer, it is advantageous to have knowledge of playing these instruments in addition to the vocal skills. Along with Vocal training, I am teaching playing Harmonium and Tanpura also without any additional fees. The decision to pursue these instruments are fully optional and completely rests on the interest and enthusiasm of the aspirant.

Medium of demonstration would be either English, Hindi or Bengali based on contender's requirement.

For online teaching, I prefer to conduct one-to-one sessions to maintain the highest standard of quality.
Offline classes are conducted in groups.

An interactive music demo session would be very beneficial for the aspiring musician to check the competency of the music teacher and definitely an opportunity for the Music teacher to get to know about the budding artist and their unique musical abilities. Demo session is kept free of any charge.
