My educational qualifications have molded me into a versatile instructor, I can teach from basic steps till jathis and songs. I choreograph songs for stage performances also.
What makes me stand apart from the rest?
Well, firstly, I am good with kids. I have over 20 students who learn from me offline, they have been learning continuously for many years now.
Secondly, I give Kuchipudi dance notes. Dance isn't all about the practical, it's also learnt through theory. I give notes specific to the student's needs. I also dedicate a few classes for reciting theory and teaching hand mudras. This way, my students can easily grasp the advanced steps. I also send music or audio clips and dance videos personally to students if it is needed.
Thirdly, I am also a mother myself, I have a teenage daughter. I teach adult women too, so feel free to contact me. Remember, there is no age too late for learning dance.
Lastly, I am not only a teacher, but was also a learner of dance through online platform. I know the difficulties faced by students learning a complicated dance form through online mode. So I make my online classes organized and simple for quick grasping. Simply put, I do my best to create a smooth platform for dance, no matter the hindrances.
My modest fee also allows more interested people to come forward. Regardless of age or language barrier, I promise to give you a wholehearted fulfilling Kuchipudi dance learning journey.

I am a professional Kuchipudi classical dance teacher. I have been teaching from the last 7 years. My experience enables me to adopt my teaching techniques to fit the needs and abilities of my students. My friendly outgoing nature and fun class experience allows my students to feel comfortable and joyful as they learn a new art form. I am passionate about dance and belive in passing on this ancient art form to future generations. I have completed my certificate in Kuchipudi dance from Pottisriramulu telugu university and my diploma from chandigarh university. My guru is sri Pasumarthy venkateshwara sarma garu. I started learning dance from when I was 12 years old, but I completed my dance education in 2013, and started teaching from that year. Lastly, I am not only a teacher but was also a learner of dance through online platform as well. I know the difficulties faced by students learning a complicated dance like this through online mode. Best and Amazing
I have been learning with mam from the past 6-7 years and still learning . She is the best teacher I will ever find. She not only taught me kuchipudi dance but also many values . She taught me dance the best way . I would never want to leave her and her teaching. She always inspires me to continue pursuing my dance . In her class there are different students of different ages, she taught everyone according to their mentality. Even when she teaches very small kids around the age of 4-5 years she teaches them with patience and very gently .She teaches the best kuchipudi dance for me .
Even if a student is facing difficulty she teaches them with kindness and goodness. Lavanya mam is very dedicated and passionate in teaching her students . I am always grateful and thankful to be her student.

I feel jubilant to talk about mrs.Lavanya. My daughter Shobhamaanyata Rao is learning our state's conventional dance form Kuchipudi from Lavanya garu. At debut stage my daughter was reluctant to learn. Now she is engrossed in it. It could be possible with madam's patience and tremendous interest in kuchupudi. I feel she always obsessed with kuchipudi and her students maturation in this dance form. She not only teaches but also creates motivation in the students to be bold enough to give stage performances. I feel very grateful to have her as my daughter's dance guru.

Hello ..^^ .. this is Madhavi one of ms. lavanya machiraju's students, I have been learning Kuchipudi, classical dance from ms. Lavanya for about 2 years now, she's a great teacher ? she's got amazing teaching skills , Her attitude towards her students is really humble & her teaching is just out of this world , she taught me to dance really quick , which I thought was really really hard to learn and I'd never make it , but her words of encouragement and her support has got me through my insecurities, now I can perform with full confidence in events hosted by my collage, and in state competitions ???
All thanks to ms. Lavanya machiraju garu she's a real Guru (teacher).
I am so blessed to have learnt classical dance it's not just for entertainment , it brings relief to our soul with each step and beat ??

Hi everyone I am m.ananda bhairavi student of lavanya machiraju.. It's been an year for 1st of Aug 2020! Since last year I was learning classical kuchipudi dance from the most dedicated guru lavanya madam!! She is a teacher who makes us to learn dance and also makes the students to feel every movement of it !! Earlier everyone use to say that the people who ever learn dance and music will have great humanity and they have respect towards the society,elders etc but in today's society that is not happening!! But my guru along with dance she teaches us the moral values which are very rarely found in today's generation and society!!! She motivates us and inspires us in all the ways !! She is the one who says their is no age factor in learning any art!!! I am so proud to be her student!!! Thank you mam for everything!! I am sure and definitely make u proud one day !!!
