Hello there, my name is Ananya Jaidev, a full-time musician and a passionate music tutor.
I provide Western Vocal Classes, Guitar (Classical/Steel string) Classes and Hindustani Classical Vocal Classes.

I am a Music Minor graduate from NDSU, USA, in 2014 and an alumnus of KM Music Conservatory, AR Rahman Music School, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, in 2020.

I have been teaching online and offline for the past 3 years. I work with students of age 5 and above, covering the ABRSM and Trinity syllabus. My approach is simple: I focus on building a clear understanding rather than rote memorisation. Art is a work of patience and understanding of human emotions. For an artist to learn professionally and improve their art every day is truly a gift. Therefore, I make my students engage with their instruments to develop an understanding of their own emotions.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match their pace and comfort level. I encourage curiosity, questions, and active participation, creating a space where students feel confident to explore and grow.

I am passionate about configuring the physical and mental techniques that prevent learning. For example, to begin your first class or a new piece, emotional trauma can hold us back from progress...etc. Working on all the factors to create a beautiful art piece.
