I am a Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences. I hold a PhD and a master’s degree in biomedical engineering and have over 12 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level.
My teaching philosophy is based on a learner-centered approach, emphasizing active engagement, critical thinking, and the practical application of theory. I teach courses such as Mechanobiology and Cell Mechanics, Biofluids, Biomechanics, Advanced Mathematics, and Digital Image Processing.

My research expertise is focused on the mechanobiology of infectious pathogens. My early experience teaching at the secondary school level strengthened my ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly, contributing to strong student understanding and consistently high pass rates.
