I'm a passionate educator with 37+ years of experience igniting young minds in English, History, and Psychology. My journey spans prestigious institutions like La Martiniere Girls' College and enriching experiences as a Co-Principal, counsellor, and content developer.
As a result, I bring a unique blend of academic expertise and real-world knowledge to my classes. I've authored an English textbook for Class 8, CBSE, and a non-fiction book, 'Ayodhya-Past and Present.' My journalistic background (Associated Press, Outlook Magazine) instilled in me strong communication and problem-solving skills, which I leverage to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

    I looked into all the co-curricular activities and children's and parents' issues, in addition to handling the school staff. I was taking training classes for training teaches from nursery to class 11.
    I was also teaching English in classes 9 and 11.
  • Principal (Apr, 2016–Dec, 2016) at Narayana school Durgapur
    As a school Principal, I would look into every aspect that is expected of a CBSE school head. I also taught English to Classes 10 and 12 (CBSE).
  • School Co-ordinator and English teacher (Jan, 2014–May, 2015) at Sri Sri Academy, Kolkata
    I was the school coordinator for the middle and senior schools. I also handled the School magazine and was responsible for all co-curricular activities. I also helped the School Counsellor in his job. I taught (ICSE) English in classes 7 and 8.
  • Senior Teacher-English and History (Feb, 1989–Nov, 1997) at La Martiniere Girls College, Lucknow
    I joined as a class teacher of Class 5 and then was promoted to teach classes 8, 9 and 10. I taught English and History (ICSE board) for these classes.
