**About Me & How I Work**

I offer all teaching online, which allows me to work flexibly with students across the UK and internationally. Online delivery has consistently proven to be the most effective format for my teaching style, enabling highly interactive sessions, tailored resources, and continuity regardless of location.

Every student undertakes a trial session before we work together (save for standalone proofreading work). This allows us to establish expectations, understand your goals, and determine whether we are a good fit. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — learning is personal, and progress depends on engagement, trust, and mutual understanding. If the fit isn’t right, learning simply won’t happen.

My teaching focuses on applying the law to real case studies, rather than overwhelming students with passive information. I encourage independent thinking, structured legal reasoning, and the ability to anticipate next steps — skills that are essential for success in both assessments and practice. Sessions are always aligned to your specific course outline, upcoming assessments, and academic or professional objectives.

My approach is patient, nurturing, and supportive, while also being clear, structured, and academically rigorous. I am approachable and honest, and I take genuine pride in helping students build confidence and capability in law.

**Professional Background**

I am a practising lawyer with over 18 years’ experience across multiple legal disciplines, including civil litigation and compliance. Alongside practice, I have been tutoring since 2019 and have supported well over 1,500 students across different jurisdictions, levels, and pathways.

Many of my students work with me over several years — progressing from A-Level Law through to LLB, LLM, or professional legal training — and often return later for career coaching, applications support, CV guidance, and professional development.

I work extensively with students who are studying alongside full-time professional roles, including those based internationally (for example in Dubai), particularly on CILEX and NALP pathways, where structured guidance and accountability are essential.

**Subjects & Pathways Supported**

I provide tutoring and academic support across:

A-Level & International A-Level Law
LLB and LLM programmes
GDL, LPC, SQE, BPTC
CILEX and NALP qualifications
LNAT & Watson-Glaser preparation
UCAS and university applications
Training contract and vacation scheme applications

I also deliver direct remote teaching into schools under contract, and offer group tuition alongside 1:1 support.

**SEN & Inclusive Learning**

I have extensive experience supporting students with additional learning needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, and ASD. This is informed by both professional experience and personal insight as a parent. My teaching is inclusive, structured, and responsive, without compromising academic standards or expectations.

**Additional Services & Resources**

Alongside live teaching, I offer:

OSCOLA referencing and legal research support (LexisNexis and Westlaw)
Proofreading and academic skills support for essays, coursework, and dissertations
Structured guidance on planning, argument development, and legal writing

Proofreading packages vary by word count and turnaround time and always include a follow-up video call to discuss feedback. All work is returned using tracked changes, with discounts available for existing students and multiple submissions.

I am also expanding my offering to include:

Pre-recorded A-Level Law lecture packages
Structured revision guides and self-study resources
Group “Introduction to Law” programmes
Debate and moot-style group sessions

**Regional & Cultural Experience**

I have worked extensively with students across the MENA region and have lived in Egypt, giving me a strong understanding of cultural, educational, and linguistic differences that can affect progression into UK and international legal education. This perspective is particularly valuable for students studying law abroad or transitioning between education systems.
