I am Pon Perumal FIDE certified Lead School Instructor the 2nd highest title given by the Chess in Education Commission of FIDE. I'm specially trained to teach chess curious and effective to young kids to make a milestone in competitive chess and to make chess as a tool for good lifestyle. I have experience of 8+ years in professional chess coaching. I have been training 200+ kids from India,USA,Canada,Netherlands,Finland,Ireland,UK,Qatar,Dubai,Australia. Many of them are well trained, equipped with tactical + Strategical skills in Chess and shining great at state level and International FIDE rated tournaments.

• Viluppuram district(INDIA) U-19 Chess champion-2014
• MS University’s (INDIA) Chess Team Championship Winner (2016-19)

Notable Achievements in Chess Career:
 Induced young minds to achieve INTERNATIONAL FIDE RATING through intensive coaching.
 Induced 100+ kids to achieve district level & State level chess tournament winner rankings.
 Officiated as the Chief Arbiter for Tamil Nadu Government’s CM trophy Chess Tournament
2026 held at Tirunelveli for School Students, College Students and Govt. Employees.
 Effectively handled 750+ school students’ entries in a single day event. (CM Trophy 2026)
 Officiated as the Chief Arbiter for more than 15 Chess tournaments in and around Tirunelveli
District.
 Organized TN State level chess tournament successfully with 480 players. The tournament
had a huge prize structure worth of Rs.1,50,000/- @ Jose School, Tirunelveli.
