Sasikala NagavarapuGuest Faculty in Andhra University
No reviews yet
I, Sasikala Nagavarapu, am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in the mellifluous art of Carnatic music from the prestigious Andhra University. I have completed my post-graduation in Carnatic Music, also from Andhra University. In addition, I have obtained diplomas in Devotional Music and Light Music, broadening my knowledge in the diverse genres of Indian classical music.
With over 20 years of experience in imparting the nuances of Carnatic music to students across various schools as well as at my own residence, I conduct online classes spanning beginner to intermediate levels in the subject. I teach a plethora of familiar songs in the classical style while educating students about the origins and evolution of Carnatic music over the centuries.
Having participated in multiple local musical concerts and events, I now serve as a faculty member and educator of Carnatic music. My expertise also lies in preparing assignments and conducting examinations on behalf of reputed institutions and universities to evaluate students learning and understanding.
A lifelong learner and practitioner of Carnatic music, I aim to spread knowledge about the rich cultural heritage of Indian classical music through my teaching and performances. My passion for music coupled with academic qualifications in the field drives me to share the beauty of Carnatic music with students and audiences alike.
