Cindy DatuMusic Theory, Saxophone playing
No reviews yet
I am Cindy Salenga Datu, a saxophonist based in the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of the Philippines Diliman, where I studied under the tutelage of Mr. Michael Mark Guevarra and graduated with Latin honors (Cum Laude). I began my saxophone journey in 2014.
I specialize in a wide range of musical genres, including pop, jazz, ballad, R&B, funk, and swing. I regularly perform at weddings, birthdays, corporate events, malls, hotels, and other special occasions, both as a solo artist and as a member of large ensembles.
In addition to performing, I am also a private saxophone instructor, offering online and face-to-face lessons. My teaching focuses on playing techniques, warm-ups, etudes, method books, and classical repertoire, alongside music theory instruction to help students gain a deeper understanding of how music works.
